Jay Z Scores Second Week Atop Charts With Empire

Jay Z's hit single "Empire State of Mind" has claimed the number one spot atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a second consecutive week.
Fresh off a bevy of performances, including one at Sunday's American Music Awards, "Empire State of Mind" fought off an advance from Lady Gaga.
Earning the title of the week's greatest airplay gainer, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" nearly reaching number one, rocketing 11-2.
Elsewhere on the Hot 100 chart, Jason Derulo and Jay Sean take took dips this week. Derulo's "Whatcha Say" dropped 3-4, while the "Down" singer (Jay Sean) fell 7-10.
