Rihanna Talks Nerves, London Gone Worldwide Concert

Rihanna is amped up for a show that will not only allow to her perform songs from "Rated R" for the first time, but for a worldwide audience via Nokia.
"It's a live stream worldwide, which means everyone can watch it at the same time all over the world, live, all at once, which is exciting," Rihanna confirmed earlier this week.
While the prospect of getting back on stage as a solo act (after sharing the stage with Jay Z and Kanye West earlier this year) is exciting, Rihanna admits the forthcoming gig in London is making her nervous.
"It makes me nervous, because it's not just the 6,000 people in the venue, its millions of people across the world watching it all at once. It's exciting though; it's a big thing that everyone can see it."
As previously reported, Rihanna's show at an undisclosed location in London will be streamed worldwide, making it one of the biggest online streaming events in history November 16.

Rihanna with limited vocals, along with sales and marketing, studio enhancements is an anomaly and strikes a chord with her public with a mere photograph, her “it factor” has a heart and soul that’s all her own, she’s sensual, sexy and chic and that’s pretty potent stuff! Both singers have their lane and fan base and don’t compare. The problem is that since Beyonce was given the title as the baddest chic in da game, her fans don’t want her to ever lose that status. It’s delusional because someone will always come along regardless of who’s holding the reigns. Just like Mary, Mariah and Janet are still around, beloved and relevant so will Beyonce, it’ll just be with other artists who’s just as fierce or even better.
Beyonce didn’t set a standard or raise the bar so high, not musically. What she did was put together an awesome sales and marketing plan that helped her to dominate radio and other media outlets. She brings her own mega-millions to launch projects to get people on board, countless endorsement sponsors here and abroad which is attractive to media outlets, buy advertising, product placements, promotional-tie-ins, giveaways to boost sales, her fan base, fantastic good looks and body in the right color hue for mainstream acceptance and the lack of competition. The soft porn videos, song ditties and power base is the portion of her talent she uses because money and sex talks! She also helped to create a template that anyone can follow, just the times we live in, i.e. Jessica Simpson‘s brand worth over 400 million, Kardashians, Paris Hilton and now Taylor Swift!

why do ppl always feel the need to compare rihanna to beyonce as if she (rihanna) is real competition in any capacity. the live concert thg is new technology so it wasnt available 6 years ago when beyonce was 21, but what does that prove??? a better question/comparison is has rihanna established herself as a power-house “artist” in the way beyonce has. I mean lets be real no one was checkin for rhi before GGGG, and all three bey solo efforts have been well received and even set the bar for artists like rihanna. Rhianna needs to prove she can have the same success with her nxt project as she did with GGGG then we can compare her to beyonce. i dnt kno if that will happen tho cause ppl are not feelin whats been released frm Rated R so far…but that’s jus my opinion.
