Rihanna 'Better' After Interview, Books Roulette Premiere

Now that the silence surrounding February's unfortunate turn of events has been broken, Rihanna feels better and perhaps free to move forward.
"It was the biggest weight lifted off my chest," she told MTV News Monday. "If you watch the interview(20/20), you see it was a subject that I didn't talk about for the eight months that I didn't talk about it, so that was my first real time opening up."
Admitting that she "had a lot of tension bottled up," Rihanna looks forward to focus on her new album.
Set for release November 23, "Rated R" features collaborative efforts with Justin Timberlake, Tricky Stewart, Ne-Yo and more.
In related news, Rihanna will premiere the anticipated video for "Russian Roulette" Friday.
Sources say the Anthony Mandler directed cut will premiere during 20/20 on ABC (check local listings).

Rihanna is wicked and i guess she was advised by her so called mentors! this incident happened since in February, why now come with tears and a sad face to talk about it? it is plain to see and any blind person can see the motive behind her interview; it is to promote her CD/music. so that when she gives full details of her side of the story people will feel sorry and will buy her music... she said that she wants CB to do well, but i doubt it, why did she wait to release a statement just as CB is about to release his new cd/music? people makes mistakes and some are done in the light and others in the dark, so what the heck! get real and she will only fool herself and her selfish fans and mentors! keep on pretending...
I saw parts of the interview. For me she would have faired better if she never said a word. She did not come across as believable. Could she have picked a better time??????? Now that she's about to release her CD. She decide to speak. Give me a BREAK!!!

rihanna only you know how hard it has been these last monthe, i can just imagine in my mind you being hurt, abused, and embrassed all at the same time. and the thought going over and over in your mind that the man you loved treating you like a rag, thank god that you pulled through this it could been much worst. but your trust in god was what substained you. and when i think about the fact that you could have been killed thats very scary for me and i am sure your family and friends. i am glad that you finally got up enough nerve to talk about your ordeal. and the nerve of some narrowed minded people to think that you threw him under the bus thay have got some nerves and you stay as far as you can from that type of a situation for ever . you ask god to send you a real man and not a kid that needs to grow the hell up. and he says that he does not remember all that happen. now some are saying that hes the one who made your career so big , you can bury the pass and live for the future.
