Rihanna Sets Record With 20/20 Exclusive

Rihanna's anticipated appearance on '20/20' paid off for ABC Friday.
According to recently revealed ratings, the exclusive interview was watched by some 8.2 million between 10pm and 11pm EST November 6.
The exclusive, which featured Rihanna speaking out for the first time on an abuse ridden childhood and 'incident' with Chris Brown, also ranked high amongst viewers between the ages of 18 and 34 (setting a record for the highest viewership in that demo in three years).
During the interview, Rihanna told Diane Sawyer she had no ill will or feelings toward Chris Brown and hoped he could move forward with his life.
"The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other. It became an obsession," said Rihanna. "I
actually love and care about him. I want him to do well... take this as
something you had to go through to grow up and learn."
