In the wake of Rihanna's exclusive sit down with ABC's 20/20, Chris Brown has issued a statement.
"While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us," Brown told MTV days after his 'Chris Brown-The Interview' taping and just before Rihanna's 20/20 airing.
"I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions."
Admitting that he's taking proper steps to learn about himself, Brown says he leaves everything else to God.
"At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."

If we give God credit for everything, then how could we disappoint her by not utilizing one of the greatest gives bestowed upon us: a BRAIN. Give me a good attorney over Jesus any day. "Leave it to God" - PLEASE. Even if I did believe, I'm sure a God would want not part of our sh!t. Now, if Jesus, or any other mythological being who's capable of reappearing, is packin, then send him my way. Now give me some sugar if you're freaky. Give it to mama!

rehabilitation of the mind, body and soul is required at all cost. always remember god is the only answer. love is peace and understanding. not control and anger.love does not surpose to hurt. should have loved her like you love god and your music chris brown.
BOYCOTT - BOYCOTT -DO NOT BUY HIS STUFF. HE IS NOT SORRY FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT GOING BROKE.
Chris, it is good that you are calling on God and remember, the battle is not yours and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Having said that, stop releasing statments, move on, let your music, your talent and your actions speak for you. Time is a healer of all things. Be careful of the people who you surround yourself with. Continue going to anger management classes, get into the word and really read and soak it up so that when the devil comes for you, u have on your armour. I know u know that hitting Rihanna was not right regardless but what u did was bad but that does not make u a bad person and I trust that you will learn and grow from this. Know who your true friends are and make your momma proud! I wish you well.
