Toni Braxton, Lewis Near Divorce Court?

Grammy Award winning singer Toni Braxton may be headed to divorce court in the near future.

According to Essence, the sultry "Yesterday" and "Unbreak My Heart" singer has separated from husband and Mint Condition member Keri Lewis.

Married for eight years, the couple has two children and appeared at a recent taping of the Soul Train Awards (set to air on BET/Centric November 29).

A statement has not yet been issued from either party.

News of the separation and possible divorce follows a controversial kiss between Braxton and R&B singer Trey Songz at the Soul Train Awards Tuesday.

Braxton is due to release a new album under Atlantic Records in 2010.
