Rihanna After suffering abuse at the hands of Chris Brown, Rihanna has stern advice for young women who find themselves in similar situations.

In an explosive preview of her forthcoming '20/20' interview set to air Friday, Rihanna tells Diane Sawyer " 'F' love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person and for what it really is and then make your decision because love is so blind".

The explosive advice came moments after Diane Sawyer asked Rihanna about the attack in February and her decision to return to the "I Can Transform Ya" singer.

"I didn't cause this. I didn't do it," Rihanna told Sawyer, addressing months of comments from observers who blamed the singer for 'causing' the incident to happen.

"There are a lot of women who have experienced what I did, but not in the public."

"I fell in love with that person. That's embarrassing (that) that's the person I fell in love with," Rihanna went on to tell Sawyer.

While Rihanna was quick to admit that her relationship with Brown became embarrassing, the "Russian Roulette" star seemed to be overcome with emotion when addressing a decision to go back to Brown after the attack.

"That's not what I want to teach people (to go back)," Rihanna said in the clip.

"When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some girl getting killed I could not be easy with that part. I couldn't be responsible for them going back again."

"It was a wake up call for me ... big time," she goes to say.

Rihanna's full interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 will air Friday, November 6 at 10pm.

In related news, Chris Brown has sat down with MTV to give his side of the story, just weeks after an interview with Larry King Live. This time however, Brown is one-on-one with MTV personality Sway.  That interview airs Friday, November 6 at 6pm on MTV.

Whatever it is. Chris does not have ANY rights to beat her up. He doesn't have ANY rights to abuse. Physically or mentally.

  2. 1234 says:

@lili there sure is three sides to every story but this case has been through the court system , and chris has spoken on it and rihanna has spoken so all of us can say what ever we want to and it matters a dam. therrs people who did not like rihanna from the start and they never will. and that is why that its a good thing that rihanna has got international star power and they love her around the world. you can never make it in business if you depends on black people as a whole to support you you have to apeal to the world stage. and thats why she is having a concert in london and she has joined with nokia to stream her concert on the 16 of november all over the world, this is a brand new concept and rihanna is the first artist to do it.. shes friends with nokia one of the largest companys in tele communications.

  3. 1234 says:

@ caribbean girl , riri do not have to go back home to learn more about hurt, abuse, and betryal in her life and you have a right to your opinion but riri can dress how ever she wants to and to hell with what you think. you just prat to god that you never get your butt beat down by a person who says that he does not even remember what happen , please. what riri is going to do is work harder on her career and the people who do not like her you do not even matter at all.

  4. 1234 says:

its amazing how every one is speaking on different things about riri and the things that they have read on tmz and the tabloids are pure gossip and is not all of the time true. however ri will move on with her life and hopefully cb will let god work it out for him, thats a good thing, he needs to let it go also i mean for real and for good . they both needs to just live their lives now and let go and let god.

  5. 1234 says:

rihanna spoke really good and she was very articulate in what she was saying, and she looked and acted very believable. she told about her love for chris, and she told how ashamed she was she spoke on it and she went straight to the point and spoke about what happen to her. and she will be a voice because people love her all over the world. chris had his say on larry king and she had hers on gma and it needs to be put to sleep once and for all and i think that rihanna hass done just that put the incident to sleep. shes a very strong young woman she told of the deep love that she felt for him and how she was hurt at the hands of a man that she loved very deep and very much.and what he did to her without any feeling or emotions in his eyes.

  6. 1234 says:

she has had a heavy burden on her shoulders , and now that she has spoken about it she will be able to mobe on and stand tall for dv but she does not have to be a poster child for dv if she does not want to. but she wants to and they are working with her and she will be speaking on it and working with dv.

  7. ayesha says:

its time to heal outside and in. i have been in this same situation. but didnt get the support rihanna did. i know im not a star but it showed me what degree a human can bring thmslves to do to another when you give them full control. dont blame love, you have an inner sense of something isn't right. when put his hands on you the first time that was a red flag. love yourself first to know when to get the hell out. god gave the power of choice, that means love too.

  8. Lili says:

There is always 3 sides to a story, Now it looks like with this interview, there is 4 sides.. Chris, Rihanna, RIHANNAS PUBLICIST and the Truth. Yes, chris was wrong to do that to her. He has been tried and convicted in a legal court, is paying his dues and has apologized. What more can he do to "accept what he did".. She seems like only his death will be sufficient to repay the crime. Everyone seems to forget he is someone's child also. He is hurting over this and has had the worst thrown at him for the incident. Well, Chris you keep your head up. Only GOD can judge you, Pray, stay strong and THIS TOO SHALL PASS.. that is, until Rihanna doesnt have another CD to promote.

  9. Shawakatima says:

When you are in this industry, everything in "response" is always well orchestrated - nature of the beast - get over it. However, this child's beatdown was not; it was brutal, and in whatever way she can exert some control over this brutal situation, allow her to do it. Don't you think all Ms. Brown's responses have been orchestrated. All of you need a nice cold glass of Shug Avery Pee.

  10. cheral says:

i knew it riri is so phony. even the way she sounded put me of. shes talking out of her ass, since shes got an alblum coming out, shes trying to get sympathy. dis b**** deserves everything dat happend to her
