Michael Jackson After roughly forty-eight hours in stores, Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' double disc is believed to be on its way to the top of next week's Billboard 200 albums chart.

Released just before the worldwide premiere of the 'This Is It' film, Jackson's 'This Is It' double disc flew off shelves and bombarded digital retailers with order after order Monday and Tuesday.

According to early sales predictions, sources say the double disc could sell over 300,000 copies in the U.S. alone by week's end.

As for it being the best selling album of the year, sources say that may be hard as Jackson's "Number Ones" disc has already claimed that title (moving over 2 million copies in 2009 alone).

As previously reported on Singersroom, the "This Is It" album includes fourteen studio recordings of hits like "Beat It;" a spoken word piece titled "Planet Earth;" and the recently released track "This Is It".

Jackson's 'This Is It' film is also expected to open at no.1 at the Box Office.
