Maxwell continues to hold a firm grip on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally this week.
The "BlackSummers'night" singer's hit single "Pretty Wings" officially hit a milestone of the chart this week, scoring its twelfth consecutive week atop the chart.
Released several months back, Maxwell's "Pretty Wings" also holds down #1 on the Urban AC chart, after flip flopping with his second single "Bad Habits".
In related news, Maxwell is a front runner for this year's Soul Train Awards.
Nominated for a whopping four awards, Maxwell ties with Beyonce and Keri Hilson who also have nominations for awards in Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Collaboration categories.
"Pretty Wings" is in fact, up for 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year'.
The 2009 Soul Train Awards, set to air on Centric, premiere November 29 at 9pm.
