Rihanna Plots Post 'Umbrella' Hit With Tricky After Stargate
Now that Rihanna has work with Justin Timberlake and Stargate in the can, the "Rehab" singer has her sights set on a reunion with "Umbrella" hit maker Tricky Stewart.
Stewart, confirming his intent to work with the diva by month's end, says he's already fallen in love with a few ideas.
"Rihanna and I will be getting in the studio sometime in the next two weeks, so we actually have not recorded anything for her new album yet," Stewart told Rap-Up.
While not much else was revealed, Stewart says there will be nothing like "Umbrella" on this album.
"Man, you know we can't do that. We come out with something that sounds like 'Umbrella,' they're gonna be saying that we tried to do something that sounded like 'Umbrella,' said Stewart.
"That's not what the great artists do. They don't even allow you to do stuff like that. Every great artist always wants to hear something they've never heard before."
Rihanna's next album is due to be released late 2009, if not 2010.

rihanna get into the studio and churn out some music , because you need to keep people at bay who does not want you to make it in the industry. you need to shut up all of their mouths and show them what you can do. you are a very talented young artist and you can never please people but you can always please yourself. so please do your thing in the studio, people love to have things to talk about when its negative. and it matters a dam what people think just let them talk thats all a lot of them are good for, just make for sure that you keep giving your music all that you have got because you sounds really good and always brings different things to the music scene.
