Loyal fans of "Not Anymore," "Torn" and recently "Regret" singer LeToya (Luckett) are fed up with a seeming lack of support for her latest album "Lady Love".
"We, the fans and supporters of LeToya Luckett are EXTREMELY disappointed at the way the entire "Lady Love" project has been handled thus far," one of two recently kicked off petitions reads, asking Luckett's label, Capitol Records, to support and provide further promotion of her album.
According to fans, Luckett's sophomore release has been poorly promoted since it arrived in stores in August, after a myriad of release date changes and singles including "Not Anymore" and "She Ain't Got".
Blaming the charting success of Luckett's first two singles on promotion, fans says "We believe that she has proven she is more than deserving of the same promotion her label mates have received e.g. Katy Perry. We fully understand that her first two singles did not push this album the way we all hoped, but given the promotion they received we are not surprised."
At press time over 400 signatures were present on both ongoing petitions.
Fans say they hope for renewed support from Capitol Records:
"We ask that you provide LeToya with, at the very least, the same promotion that her debut album received, an official add date for "Regret" to build upon its already strong airplay performance, and a budget that reflects a Grammy award winning, Platinum selling artist, with two #1 albums to her credit, so a "Regret" video can be produced and distributed. We understand that money does not grow on trees, and so far the album has not returned your investment, but we know that "Regret" can change all of that with your fully renewed support."
Luckett's "Lady Love" follows her self-titled debut featuring the hit singles "Torn" and "She Don't".
Luckett is also due to appear in the forthcoming film "The Preacher's Kid," in theaters this fall.

My two cents - Tears is a really decent slow jam...hidden on the end of the album
I luv Letoya and this is awesome that her fans and supporters are doing this cuz ido agree BAD BAD promotion BUTTTTT: I do not beleive "Regret" is the song to push. #1, it sounds JUST like Kelly Rowland's "Ghetto" go listen to it and its just not that "WOW!!!" So i dont think we should be pushn for that song. I wish the best for her tho
I feel that they should put money into a product if they want to see a return on their investment. You have to spend money to make money.
O-M-G I am so honored to be a part of this....the album is hot yet still I have not heard much about it. I bought the album but feels as if she is not being properly promoted, the only reason I knew it was out because I clicked on CONCRETELOOP.com and the picture and her release date was up there...that is so unfair and I am so sick of it
I didn't even know the album was in stores yet until 3 days ago....and it is jamming Good To Me Regret Drained Lazy omg LeToya did the damn thang album is hott best album since Brandy's 1998 Never Say Never album. Lady Love is flawless I love LeToya and wish her nothing but success!
Letoya deserves much respect. I did not even know that her album was out. I did not hear anything about it. They trying to sabotage.
all we ask is that you treat our sister fair. that should not be hard to do, when you treat people right then all of the other things just fall into place.and if yo do not treat her right then she will be blessed without you and your actions.

LADY LOVE IS A BAD ASS ALBUM ITS BETTER THAN BEYONCES ALBUM
The CD is great...Capitol is a wack ass label!
I still cannot believe Capitol is treating a wonderful artist as such, this album is a masterpiece worthy of GRAMMYS. How very double dare they??? It is now time for them to WAKE UP and put LT where she belongs, which is recognition and stardom...
PROMOTE THE DAMM ALBUM!!!
