Omarion Inks New Deal, Sets Date For 'Ollusion' Release

Omarion Omarion will soon make his long awaited return to the music scene with a new album and label imprint, Starworld Entertainment, thanks to EMI Label Services.

On track to release the album, titled "Ollusion," this November, Omarion is said to be showcasing his growth as an artist and entertainer throughout the effort, which he co-produced and penned.

"My style has evolved so much on this album -- I was able to express truly who I am from a creative and artistic standpoint, which allowed me to share a personal side of myself with my fans through my music. This is my masterpiece and I can't wait for the world to hear my new album," Omarion said in statement Thursday.

Led by the single "I Get It In," Omarion's forthcoming album also features work with King, Detail, and 253 as well as collaborations with both Gucci Mane and Fabolous.

"I Get It In," an uptempo banger featuring Gucci Mane, reunites Omarion with hit making producer Tank (responsible for the title track and first single "O" on his first studio album).

As for his deal with EMI, Omarion says "I am very excited about my new home at EMI  and know that this is the perfect opportunity for me to return to the charts."

Prior to signing with EMI and launching Starworld Entertainment, Omarion released two chart topping solo albums after leaving the multi-platinum selling group B2K.  His first solo album, O, debuted #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Album and Billboard 200 chart.  His sophomore album, 21, dominated radio airplay and also debuted #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The second single from 21, "Ice Box", produced by Timbaland, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was a platinum selling ringtone.  Omarion collaborated with rapper Bow Wow on his third project, Face Off, which was the number one rap album in the U.S. and number two R&B album.  The actor and producer appeared in several films, most notably You Got Served, which was a #1 box office smash, earning $40 million worldwide. He also added author to his resume in 2004, releasing a solo autobiography titled, "O" on behalf of MTV.

Omarion's lead single "I Get It In" will debut at radio October 5, to be followed by the album "Ollusion" November 24.
