Mya Focused On 'Fun' After Pre Dancing Accident
Mya is focused on having fun on tonight's premiere of 'Dancing With The Stars' (ABC).
"My main goal is to have fun and not focus too much on winning and being disappointed if I don't," says Mya.
"I have to have fun because it's too much of a competition and too much pressure so I may forget some things."
While Mya is in good spirits, an injury over the weekend had fans worried.
According to the singer, a visit to a local hospital was necessary after a severe cut.
"Went to the hospital late last night to get stitches. Deep cut from
glass. Only caught 2hours of sleep but feel great. Must be adrenaline," Mya wrote on Twitter Monday.
Ensuring that she will be on stage Tuesday, Mya wrote "Nothing to worry about. Just an ugly slice on my finger-not the first time I’ve had stitches. I’ll be just fine."
Mya will appear on Dancing With The Stars tonight, Tuesday, September 22.
