Beyonce's Ego Gone Certified
The "Ego" that keeps everyone talking has been certified by the RIAA.
In the latest round of RIAA certifications, Beyonce's hit single "Ego" earned a Gold nod in celebration of over 500k units being shipped.
Released in May, Beyonce's "Ego" and an accompanying pair of remixes, including one with Kanye West, peaked at no.3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Singles Chart.
"Ego" is the fifth single to be released from Beyonce's multi-Platinum selling album "I Am... Sasha Fierce".
Since its release in November of 2008, "I Am... Sasha Fierce" has moved more than two million copies in the United States alone.

@James below! I am fan of both, Beyonce and Alicia! Their has been so much promotion for Beyonce, that alot of people have forgotten that there are other divas who outsell her! Beyonce's latest album just went 2x Platinum which is good considering today's recession and illegal downloading, but Alicia's last album and Taylor Swift's were 3x platinum! Carrie Underwood, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Pink and Gwen Stefani have sold more units than Beyonce as a solo artist! Our R&B sistas need the type of million dollar promos that Beyonce receives from her label! Those divas also get the much bigger budgets for their music videos and their stage designs for their tours are top quality as compared to our R&B divas! We all know our R&B divas are the better live performers out of all the genres, but they need better label support!
Kinda sad that she get so much promotion and still can't outsell Alica Keys in the Us or worldwide lol
