Jackson Estate Settles For Soundtrack, Allowance Revealed

Michael JacksonA soundtrack to be released in conjunction with 'This Is It' (the film) is now on its way to stores.

Approved by a probate judge Thursday, sources say the family is now clear to strike a deal with SONY for the production and distribution of the soundtrack album.

While no details or names affiliated with the soundtrack have been revealed, sources believe a song recorded by Jackson intended for his 'This Is It Concert Series' may make the soundtrack.

In related news, Michael Jackson's mother and children are receiving over $86,000 a month from the late King of Pop's estate, according to court documents.

Approved by Los Angeles Superior Court judge Mitchell Beckloff, Jackson's mother Katherine is paid a monthly sum of $26k while the singer's three children receive near $60k.

Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' film is due in theaters next month.
