Whitney Houston may leap toward the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart if post Oprah sales predictions pan out.
According to HDD, Houston's "I Look To You" is moving swiftly at stores this week.
Just days after Houston's two day sit down with Oprah Winfrey aired, sources say the diva's album is moving past last week's total of 88,000 copies sold and could sell upwards of 100-120k copies by weeks end!
With numbers close to 120k, Houston's album is a shoe in for placement at either no. 2 or no.3 on next week's Billboard 200.
While Houston's jump in stores is grand, next week's big winner is expected to be Jay-Z. Sources say preliminary sales figures put Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" at no.1 for a second week on the strength of 200,000 copies sold.

I love Whitney Houston I think her Album will go Platinum but her number one single is I look to you I don't think that song is going to do so well. I do believe once she released Million Dollar Bill her Album could reach Platinum status. there are two Music Videos for I look to you and Million Dollar bill go to Singersroom.com or
Whitney Houston.com to check her out.
I LOVE Worth It. Just love that track. I think I am being converted...
I was so desperate to see Whitney back that I slept with Jesus himself on at least a dozen ocassions. I was next proposing to give Prophet Muhammed some of this stuff, but I see he wasn't in the loop. Seriously, Shwakatima is so happy to have Ms. Whit back. Show these little heiffers how a real diva commands it. This album will have legs; don't you worry Michael.
I'm very happy that she is back, and she is still the #1 sweetheart.
While week 3 will be enough for Whitney to acheive Gold status, the big question will be how much promotion/radio reception goes on from here, as there are currently no additional events planned according to whitneyhouston.com. With Madonna, Barbra, Mariah, and other females getting in on the act of new albums, Whitney could get lost in the mix. SHE NEEDS A TOP 10 HIT TO GO PLATINUM!
