Alicia Keys Picks Mean Lead Single

Alicia Keys is fueling anticipation for the forthcoming follow up to 2007s "As I Am" this week.

Releasing a new single titled "Doesn't Mean Anything" online, Keys has already garnered the attention of music enthusiasts worldwide.

While the song has not been officially released to radio, it is believed to have been produced and readied for radio with Keys longtime partner Kerry Krucial Brothers.

As previously reported on Singersroom, Keys' forthcoming album is due to be released late 2009.

The as-yet-untitled effort follows Keys' Grammy-nominated hit single "No One" and popular singles "Teenage Love Affair" and "Superwoman".
