30 Under 30 Update: Ne-Yo’s New Artists Lends Support, Jokes on Corny Pick-Up Lines

R&B star Ne-Yo, who made the Singersroom list for the Top 30 Under 30 male artist in music, is getting some huge support from his two new young protégés. His first signee Jadyn Maria and new artist Lisa Tucker believes Ne-Yo is the best doing it presently.

“I couldn’t have picked a better person to work with,” says Maria. “Ne-Yo is wonderful and a personal level, he’s so humble and real but beyond that his talent with writing and producing is just amazing so I definitely feel like I’m in the best place I could possibly be.”

Maria also jokingly says Ne-Yo is “Sexy.”

Lisa Tucker, who is also on the Game that currently airs on BET, chimes in by saying “its one thing when someone can sing but the lyrics he writes always tells a story. That’s a gift and he has it and has perfected it…he’s just so amazing.”

The two young beauties were also glad to tell Singersroom about some bad pick-up lines they have heard from guys.

Tucker’s favorite….“Are You Lost…No…I think you are…because I just found you.” She says it’s the “lamest” one ever.

Maria’s favorite…“Did it hurt…what?...when you fell from heaven.” Maria says that will definitely never get a guy points.
