Naturi Naughton Makes Strong Billboard Return Thanks To Fame

Naturi Naughton has officially made an impact on the charts as a solo act.
Naughton, previously known as 1/3 of the hit group 3LW, makes an imprint on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks "Fame 2009".
Taken from the soundtrack of the forthcoming film 'Fame,' Naughton's "Fame 2009" debuts at no.48 on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart, just months after her big screen debut in 'Notorious' (as Lil Kim).
Naughton's success with the song, a cover of Irene Cara's 1980 classic, could lead to top 10 charting success, much like Cara's version that peaked at no.4.
'Fame' opens in theaters September 25.
