Ledisi Ousts Maxwell For No.1 Debut
Ledisi strikes this week's Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart with precision, landing the no.1 spot thanks to "Turn Me Loose".
The second album to be released under Verve Records, Ledisi's "Turn Me Loose" features the lead single "Goin Thru Changes" and production from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
According to Billboard, Ledisi ousts Maxwell's no.1 streak on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.
Holding down the no.1 spot for several weeks, Maxwell's "BlackSummers'Night" lands at no.2 this week.
