Letoya LuckettWho said there’s no life after Destiny’s Child? LeToya Luckett is and has been vehemently striking down those fallacious forms of innuendos and speculations.

After a chart topping 2006 album with her debut solo album entitled Letoya the electric artist is giving us more of the Houston-bred girl we’ve grown to love in her new album Lady Love.

Luckett starts to shake things up early with “She Ain’t Got…” hitting you with synthesized vocals, hard snares, and sassy lyrics. She “put’s her foot down,” on this track.

Next we’re hit with the smash single “Not Anymore” co-written and produced by Bei Maejor. This anthem for ladies who are plain old tired of a no-good-man is followed by the next track entitled “Lazy” where she’s simply “tired of loving”.

With features from Ludacris, Estelle, and Mims you really can’t go wrong with Luckett’s sophomore project. My personal favorite is “Good To Me” where LeToya is ready to “give away all this good loving,” and asking for a “man….that still goes to church with his momma.” But don’t take my word for it ya’ll, grab a copy and find your fav!

Man...I loved this album after the first time I heard it...I totally understand why she took 3 years away to make this album. She put her all into...in my opinion this is one of the best R&B albums of the year. Lazy is my favorite song from this album along with I Need A U, Good To Me, Regret, Tears...and others its just an amazing album I cannot say enough about the writing on the album. Her voice has developed lovely and I know I'll be jamming this album for a while. Love you Toya!!!!!
