Jazmine Sullivan: 'I Bust The Windows Out Somebody’s Car And Wrote About It'

R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan, who has blessed fans with hits like “Need U Bad” and “Bust Your Windows,” feels like she received her just due with her debut album Fearless.

I don’t feel like it’s underrated, I definitely want more people to hear it,” she recently told Singersroom. “I feel like as I go further in my career more people will but I don’t feel like it’s underrated. Whoever heard it, I’m glad that they did.”

Sullivan, who is currently touring with Robin Thicke, continues to receive strong reviews from her album, not just from the media, but from new and veteran artists. Recently Anita baker told Singersroom that she loved how Jazmine sings her songs. Adding that it’s “magical.”

On a side note, we ask Jasmine what inspired her to write “Bust your windows” and she told us, “I bust the windows out somebody’s car and I wrote about it.”

For now, Sullivan continues to make a place on the charts for her as she hustles to extend her brand. Even in to the hip hop realm where she has worked on records with Jadakiss, Ace Hood, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and more.
