Ludacris Takes BET Inside DTP, Atlanta Music Scene Via Reality Jaunt

Ludacris is set to take BET and viewers across the world behind the scenes of his noted record label and empire DTP.

An acronym for Disturbing Tha Peace, DTP was founded by Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Chaka Zulu and Jeff Dixon in the early 90s. Eventually spawning hits including "What's Your Fantasy" and "Roll Out," DTP has ushered in recording artists including Bobby Valentino, Shawnna, Shareefa, and Chingy.

According to BET the docu-reality series will take a look at the glamourous, high-stakes world of Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP).

"DTP showed the world that hip-hop was a lifestyle, not just music. In recent years, however, the climate of the music industry has changed drastically, and DTP, once a dominant force in hip-hop music, must now find other ways to maintain its level of success - but company founders Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Chaka Zulu and Jeff Dixon are not about to lose."

Ready to reinvent and resuscitate the entire music industry as they demonstrate true family bonds, loyalty and innovation, DTP will forge ahead with the goal of excelling in this hyper-competitive industry. Viewers will not only see the challenging process of developing an album from concept to retail, but they'll also meet a broad cast of characters driven by a competitive spirit and a drive to succeed.

Titled 'INSIDE DTP', the DTP based docu-reality will premiere Tuesday, October 27 at 10:30pm on BET.

i was with nu-wine entertainment in the atl, they are assiocates of dtp thur keship. I was trying to get in touch with there office people. but i love his story, and his drive.
