Update: Nas Names Baby Boy, Kelis In Labor

Nas Nas and estranged wife Kelis were said to have welcomed a baby boy Tuesday, after a whirlwind of events including a scheduled divorce hearing. But according to sources who spoke with TMZ, Kelis is still in labor !

Nas however, has put it out there that his son was born Tuesday... "My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight," Nas said in a video posted early Wednesday morning.

"My son's name is Knight. That's what I named the young God, Knight," Nas continued.

"Y'all heard it first. Don't believe nothing you hear in the media. I love y'all. Don't listen to that bullsh** I love y'all, that's why I'm here."

While Nas expressed his excitement over the birth, Kelis nor her publicist has released a statement regarding the child's birth.

Kelis went into labor Tuesday, ironically the same day she and Nas were due to appear in court over their ongoing divorce.

Rumors that Kelis barred Nas from the delivery room Tuesday have not been substantiated by either party.
