Paula Abdul Paula Abdul is reportedly "hurt" over American Idol producers making the decision to negotiate with host Ryan Seacrest and judge Simon Cowell -- and not her.

According to Abdul's manager David Sonenberg, Abdul has yet to be offered a contract extension, which is extremely troubling since the pop-diva's contract expired after season 8.

"It does not appear that she's going to be back on Idol," Sonenberg told the Los Angeles Times.

Sonenberg, who recently signed on as Abdul's manager, has witnessed Ryan Seacrest's landmark $45 million deal to host the show through 2012 and alleged negotiations to offer Simon Cowell a similar package but, has not received as much as a letter of intent from producers.

"I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual... unnecessarily hurtful... kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that [the producers] haven't stepped up and said what they want to do," said Sonnenberg. "[Paula]'s not a happy camper as a result of what's going on. She's hurt. She's angry."

At press time Fox had not responded to allegations that Abdul would not be asked to return.

Abdul, taking time to thank fans who have heard of the situation on Twitter, wrote "Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives- you guys are a HUGE part of mine!! xo."
