Ledisi Feeds Freedom On New Album, Turn Me Loose
Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Ledisi is set to return with a new album this summer.
Titled "Turn Me Loose," the former "Alright" singer's forthcoming is all about the sound of freedom.
Promising to keep it "raw, spiritual, uninhibited, aggressive and tell it all," Ledisi enlisted the help of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raphael Saadiq, Ivan and Carvin, and Rex Rideout for an effort she says is all about "the desire to be free and embrace change".
"Turn Me Loose" is slated for release August 18 via Verve Forecast.
Chief Xcel, Chucky Thompson, Fyre Department, and Lorenzo Johnson have also contributed to Ledisi's follow up to the Grammy nominated "Lost & Found".
