Michael Jackson Believed Touring Would Cause His Death

Michael Jackson's anticipated "This Is It" concert series, slated to have kicked off this week in London, would have been amazing for fans. But according to Sony Executives close to the iconic entertainer, he feared touring and ultimately thought it would kill him.
"I’m going to go back probably eight years ago and Michael
told me, ‘Cory, I can’t tour anymore. I’m not gonna tour anymore. Ok?’ I said,
‘why Mike?’ He said, ‘Because it will kill me,’ executive/producer Cory Rooney told Chris Yandek of CYinterview.
"That’s what he said to me. He
said, ‘It will kill me.’ Why would you say something like that? He said, ‘Well,
remember when I was preparing for my concert and I passed out at the Sony
Studio?’ He said, ‘Well, it’s because when I get ready for a tour I get
dehydrated. I don’t eat. I don’t drink. I don’t sleep. I put so much of myself
into preparing for a tour."
Rooney's words follow weeks of speculation surrounding the King of Pop's untimely and shocking death, including rumors that he feared the vast amount of dates booked at London's O2 Arena.
The dates, booked through Spring of 2010, each required Jackson to perform a considerable amount of material from his now record breaking catalog that moved over 9 million units over the last few weeks. According to those close to him, including at one time Sony Executive Chris Apostle, Michael Jackson was pushed to the brink.
"I’m sure he decided to do
this comeback tour and net a bunch of cash, which he honestly deserves to have.
I still think that like Cory said, he was pushed to the brink by people that
were extremely powerful and he was not treated fairly," says Apostle.

People think touring is a joke! When you see an artist "Dancing and singing for 2 plus hours" and performing "Night after night, show after show"; it is the real deal! Massive tours like MJ's, Janet's and Madonna's and Prince's 1990's tours require them to be in "tip-top shape"! Next time you're in your local gym, peep inside the aerobics class or the hip-hop dance class, they require alot of high-energy cardio and stamina that very few people can endure! Again, touring is no joke for very few artists can perform 50 to 60 shows, back to back and dance all night!
every time a jackson step up to the front of the line theres some a/h trying to tear them down and there is probably people spending michaels money right now thats not supposed to all of these outsiders wants to control mj money and want to limit his beloved family, i see them dowing mr jackson thats a bunch of crap, talking about hes trying to make stars out of his grand babies , let the fellow (jj) talk if he wants to mr jacksons hard work and scarifices along with his wife mrs jackson are the ones who groomed their children for stardom and to hell with all of this talk about who did what when and who said what all of you thatd running your mouths put this on the news MICHAEL AND HIS DAD HAD THEIR DIFFERENT AND MJ SAID THAT HIS DAD WHIPPED HIM AND THAT HE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HIS DAD, BUT, MICHAEL ADMITS THAT HIS DAD IS WHY HE WAS THE MAN THAT HE WAS IN THE INDUSTRY, YES MJ, CREDITS HIS DAD FOR HIS SUCCESS SO PUT THAT ON TV CNN
i sure hope that the jackson family stays on top of their brothers business, and do not listen to yack, yack about where each one of them was when michael was ill , the public only has to look as far as the trial tapes and see that this family was always there for each others, through it all they might not have been with each other every day but what family is but when they needed to be with each other they all came in droves and stayed with michael until the end , through all of the pain and sorry they are family until the end and a lot of the comments are being made by horses butoops, who either could not use michael are some a/h that michael fired and told them to get the heck away from him, so jackson family step right up to the plate and put your demands right out there for all to see.
