Gospel/Inspirational recording stars Mary Mary have been lifted on the mainstream charts for the first time in nearly nine years !
According to Billboard, Mary Mary's latest single "God In Me" jumped onto its Hot 100 this week, a week where little changed in the top 10.
Featuring Kierra Sheard, "God In Me," received a 69% gain in downloads after the 'Sunday Best' (BET) judges performed the song at the BET Awards June 28.
"God In Me" follows Mary Mary's successful debut single "Shackles (Praise You)". In 2000, "Shackles (Praise You)" reached #28 on the Hot 100, a feat few Gospel recording stars have attained in recent years.
As previously reported on Singersroom, "God In Me" is the second single from the group's Grammy Award-winning 2008 effort "The Sound".

I am 4.' 10" african american, and I have an anointed voice. God has provided me with a voice that is 10 ft tall. I sing solo at my Church. I admire Mary Mary. I would like to know how to get started publicly singing the Gospel.
I like Mary Mary, but thought their outfits during BEt awards show was not fitting for a gospel artist. One of the sisters had no business wearing catsuit tight leather pants. Sexy dominatrix outfits and Jesus don't mix. Bad wardrobe choice for ladies who have the income to choose better.
