Prince Tickets Sell Out In Record Eight Minutes
Tickets for a highly anticipated Prince show flew into the hands of eager fans within a matter of minutes Saturday.
According to Montreux Jazz Festival organizers, two planned shows for the "Purple Rain" and "3121" singer sold out in seven minutes and 58 seconds.
The shows, with nearly 7,000 seats combined, will close the annual festival on July 18.
Grace Jones, the Black Eyed peas, and Herbie Hancock are also booked for this year's Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
