Def Jam recording star Jeremih is close to netting a top 5 debut on next week's Billboard charts.
Reeling off the top 10 charting single "Birthday Sex," Jeremih's debut album hit stores Tuesday, June 30th.
According to early sales figures, Jeremih's self-titled debut could arrive on the Billboard 200 albums chart with over 45,000 copies moved.
In related news, Ace Hood's latest effort "Ruthless" is due to come in with a reported 18,000 copies.
Hood's effort features collaborative efforts with Rick Ross, Jazmine Sullivan and The Dream. "Ruthless" follows the Miami-bred rapper's hit single with Trey Songz titled "Ride".

His album is awesome. DefJam is only distributing everything that he prepared before he was even signed. He's very talented and will continue his love for music whether you like it or not.
His $2.99 album SUCKED! His sales show they couldn't even give it away. DefScam fails again!!
Instead of rushing his CD out they should have taken more time to pick better songs for him.
