Funeral Date Set For Michael Jackson as Investigation Looms

Funeral arrangements for 'The King of Pop,' Michael Jackson have just been revealed.
Jackson, who passed last Thursday, will be memorialized at Los Angeles' Staples Center next Tuesday, July 7.
Sources close to AEG Live say Jackson's funeral will utilize the entire Staples Center area including the adjacent Nokia Theatre and a surrounding plaza.
News of Jackson's official funeral follows a statement, canceling a rumored Neverland Ranch memorial, earlier this week.
Noted for his accomplishments, not just as an entertainer but as a humanitarian, philanthropist and father, Michael Jackson died at a Los Angeles area hospital after experiencing cardiac arrest. An investigation into his untimely death is currently in progress with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) assisting local authorities as of Thursday.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the funeral will be held at the Staples Center at 10am PT.
No further information is available at this time.
