Tyrese Talks Fatherhood, Admits Divorce Related Mistakes
R&B singer/actor Tyrese Gibson admits that he "made mistakes" that contributed to his now ongoing divorce with wife and mother to his daughter Norma Gibson.
"I filed for divorce. I’m not perfect. I’ve made some major mistakes in the past and she has too," the former "Baby Boy" actor confirmed in a recent interview.
Tyrese and soon-to-be ex wife Norma Gibson are just one of a number of surprising celebrity divorces that have made headlines since January (see 2009s Most Shocking Divorces, here). Nonetheless, Tyrese says the divorce is not the end of their relationship, he will continue to be a father to his nearly two year old daughter and other men should do the same.
He tells Upscale: "There’s a lot of people in your life
that you do not necessarily get along with or are not on the same page
with, and you’re still in their life. So do what you have to do so that
you can do what you want to do, which is spend time with your child."
In related news, Tyrese can be seen in the summer blockbuster 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'. For more of his interview with Upscale, pick up the July issue on stands now.

I think the settlement was fair. This man made 800k last year. The judge awarded her 65k and six thousand a month in support. If he didn't want children, then don't have any. He pursued her till he got her then left her like she was an old toy. He will pay close attention to that little girl paying that much money towards her. And will be very cautious about marriage and family the next time. This is a lesson for all men. Families are not there to be put on the shelf when your done with them. Great job judge.
