Grammy Award-winning duo Mary Mary just picked up another no.1 record !
"God In Me," the duo's second single from 2008s "The Sound," leaped into the top spot after spending a reported thirty-three weeks on the Gospel singles chart last week.
Featuring Kierra Sheard, "God In Me" comes just in time for Mary Mary's anticipated performance at the 2009 BET Awards.
Taking place Sunday, June 28, the BET Awards 09' will also feature performances from Beyonce, Ne-Yo and Maxwell.
Mary Mary will vie for the Best Gospel Artist Award during the ceremony. Trin-i-tee 5:7, Shirley Ceasar, Smokie Norful, and
Regina Belle are nominated in the same category.
