Usher Usher has picked popular entertainment television source Entertainment Tonight for an exclusive sit down to discuss family, music and the pressures of being well... Usher.

In a release issued by Entertainment Tonight, Usher granted an exclusive sit down with Kevin Frazier, set to air this Friday (June 19).

Tackling everything from his forthcoming album "Monster" and life as a father and husband, Usher will reportedly issue what will end up being his first round of televised conversation regarding soon-to-be ex wife Tameka Foster Raymond.

When asked about "turmoil" in his life, Usher told ET: "I'd hate for them (people/fans) to assume that. If there's any turmoil I think it's managing all of it, but having an incredible team that helps me do that makes it very easy, or easier than it would normally be attempting to do it myself."

In related news, Usher's wife Tameka Foster Raymond is pleading for peace via Twitter.

Raymond, addressing a less than tasteful post on the website GlobalGrind.com, sent a tweet to Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons Wednesday. Stating: "Im going thru a hard & embarrassing time. Pls ask globalgrind not 2 print things like this. Its not truth, I have children. Thanks," Foster-Raymond, for the first time in days, showed frustration stemming from rumors and stories published across the internet.

Taking note of comments both covered by CNN.com and Singersroom.com's active community, there has been much praise over the filing of the divorce, with most calling it "unsurprising". One fan (who goes by the name 'Mimi') wrote: "Finally he came to his senses, I was pissed off that he fired his mother over that old man looking coon. Maybe his record sales will go up now. I was one of his biggest fans that would pay any amount of money to see him but he disappointed me."

Usher's sit-down with Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Fraizer airs Friday, June 19 (check local listings for exact airtimes).

I agree with Sylvia, but this thing hasn't gone as far as only the urban media like here on Singersroom, BET.com and a few other African-American based websites! I'm surprised that Entertainment Tonight is covering this for it appears that his camp had to fight for that interview and he hasn't even released the first single yet! His divorce has not made headlines or been mentioned on the mainstream front! Showbiz Tonight(CNN), E! News, The Insider and Fox News hadn't covered this yet and judging by the lack of responses here, folks aren't surprised and don't seem to that interested!

If temeka wants peace on the blogs my advice: Don't read the mess, stay off the sites that say things! This looks like its going to get messy fast. Usher fan forever. I wish both the very best, especially Temeka she'll need it after this battle. Usher should have listened to his mama, the only good coming out of this is those beautiful children Usher has and him making some good music like he use to. Divorce isn't good but if you married the wrong person or you both couldn't work the relationship out then it's best to move on. It's good that this is happening now while the kids are young and later they both can explain what happen or at least sugar coat it. In this case Sugar coating it is best.
