Eminem Not Worthy, Mariah Claws on Obsessed

Rumors that Mariah Carey's new single "Obsessed" would be "hurtful" have come true in the form of lyrics like "I’m a corporation. I’m a press conference...(and) you’re a conversation".
The single, released Tuesday, leads Carey's forthcoming album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" and reeks of Eminem. (Listen to "Obsessed" here)
While the diva, who calls the track "different, but so me," does not name the rapper who has repeatedly mentioned her in songs, including one on his 2009 effort "Relapse," words like "Why are you so obsessed with me? Lying that you’re sexing me" seem to point to the former "Slim Shady" star.
Carey and Eminem's alleged 'relationship' history has been up for debate for years. Unlike Carey, who is striking for the second time (sans 2003s "Clown"), Eminem has been known to claim that he slept with the Grammy-winning singer and "wants her back" on more than one occasion.
On "Obsessed" Carey has fun with the "Relapse" rapper, citing his substance abuse for the continuous need to discuss her in his music or interviews. "You’re delusional, boy, you’re losing your mind... It must be weed, it must be the E... Why are you so obsessed with me? Lying that you’re sexing me," Carey sings on the track.
Nonetheless, the reigning World Music Award female artist of the millennium is content with her forthcoming album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel". Set for release August 25, Carey says "I love the whole album. I'm completely immersed in it. I can't wait for you to hear it."

She truly is going the way of Janet Jackson which is sad but not at all surprising; repetitive and monotonous. A flop.
This song is utterly disappointing. I do love Mariah but she's so much better than this 'Obsessed'. As much as I hate many Eminem's songs, this single is mediocre and mundane. I'll pass.

Dr. Dre, his manager or his publicist need to tell him to either explain himself or just let it go! People are going to start talking about him for he has not been linked publicly to anyone in a romantic sense for quite awhile and no other MC has this kind of public beef with females who aren't their baby's mamas! The days of promoting controversy and personal mess to sell units don't work anymore and I don't know why his label head hadn't told him! Because he started it and instigated it for this long...and plus she is the one who is in defense mode, Eminen would come out better by taking it like a man, because Em,.. she shot ya!!
Mariah has been a recurring theme of Em's for years for it has not added to his or hers already multi-platinum record sales, but has NOW made him look even crazier and more questionable in a number of ways! Hammer called him out a few short years ago in the media, but folks weren't listening! Judging by the lack of current memorable singles coming out of the Dr.Dre/50/Em camp and Relapse has now dropped out of itunes top 10, whatever he records for his response will not receive much airplay! In many barbershop discussions in the hood, men of all ages think that Mariah, Britney, Christina A. and Kim K. are sexy-as-hell despite their trivial media personas for he has repeatedly and routinely hated on them in the media; even when the interviewer or host has asked him nothing about them! Also, if her song goes to No.1, it will make Rock-era history and Em would look even more foolish if he tried to take credit for it! Continued......
