Usher 'Mean' and 'Edgy' For Monster Album
The Usher we once knew is gone, according to hit making producer Pharell Williams.
"He's somewhere else right now, like a whole different kind of R&B," Williams confirmed in a recent interview.
News of Usher's next album, confirmed to be titled "Monster," follows the star's 2008 effort "Here I Stand" which technically ushered in a more mature, grown up, and 'man handling his business as a husband and father" vibe. But this time out, Williams says Usher is going edgy and has really took time out to study and create something that we've never seen before.
"It's really great, it's super edgy. He's taken a lot of time to really sit and study and we really built something. It's just, it's mean."
A release date for Usher's project has not been confirmed but it is believed to be on tap for release this fall.
Usher's 2008 effort "Here I Stand" was certified Platinum in January, spawning the singles "Love In This Club," "Moving Mountains" and "Trading Places".
