Jennifer Hudson, Otunga Go 'Yellow' For Baby Shower

Academy and Grammy Award winning actress and recording star Jennifer Hudson is gearing up for her next role -- Motherhood !

Hudson, engaged to reality star David Otunga, is said to be happy about the news but remains quiet about the sex of the baby.

"They're really trying to keep it kind of quiet," a friend told the Tribune.

"They don't know the gender, more yellow," she went on to say, confirming that a weekend shower took place with guests avoiding the traditional blue for boy and pink for girl gifts.

News of Hudson's shower follows weeks of speculation over what had appeared to be a baby bump displayed while on tour with Robin Thicke. Prior to the baby shower news, Hudson's representatives had denied that the singer was expecting.

There is no word as to when the baby is due or how many months along the "Spotlight" singer is however, it is believed that she is several months along.

In related news, Jennifer Hudson's "If This Isn't Love" remains in the top 10 on the Urban Adult Contemporary charts this week. The single, a follow up to 2008s "Spotlight," unsat Charlie Wilson's "There Goes My Baby" after a well over eight consecutive week run.

After dating just 6mo he proposed & Jhud accepted which we all were questioning. Now just 14mo later (they met in march 2008) she is pregnant. I wish ppl would use condoms.___Jhud I hope David is genuine & really cares 4 u. If u do marry him please get a PRENUP !
