Ginuwine Gets 'Involved' with Missy Elliott, Timbaland via New Single
R&B singer Ginuwine is coming strong with the second single from his soon to be released effort "A Man's Thoughts". Titled "Get Involved," the club ready track takes Ginuwine back to the dance floor he seemingly abandoned three years ago.
A follow up to this spring's hit single "Last Chance," Ginuwine's new cut takes it back to the old school days with Missy Elliott and Timbaland. In fact, "Get Involved" is the first record that has featured the trio since Elliott's 2001 single and tribute video to Aaliyah titled "Take Away".
Produced by Timbaland, "Get Involved" takes you straight to the club with Missy rhyming "I ain't got to take it off, I just want to get involved" followed by Timbaland stating "you know my m.o. girl is Timbo, get low and I stay on my grind".
Speaking with Singersroom, Ginuwine said "This is a CD that has been a long time coming and people have been wondering where I've been".
"I thought why not take this opportunity to come back with the people I started with."
