LL Cool J is reportedly close to netting a rumored spin off of CBS' hit series 'NCIS' !
According published reports, LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell may end up being revealed at CBS' upfront (Fall 2009) presentation this week. If the deal is struck, the as-yet-untitled spin-off is likely to be part of CBS' fall 2009 schedule.
The rumored spin-off of NCIS follows LL Cool J's several episode stint earlier this month on NCIS.
NCIS is not the first television deal for LL Cool J, the rapper-turned-actor pulled off the 1995-1999 hit sitcom "In the House" and has also made appearances on '30 Rock' and 'House M.D.'

I agree with you sam, that just shows you that the public always talk about how much they want positive rule modles but when they come around they never support them. If your from the 80'S error then you know what I mean. I am a true fan and I will support every thing this man does.
Best of luck to LL on his NCIS spinoff, but for some reason he has not received the industry awards and multi-platinum sales numbers that his peers have! All of us hip-hop heads that complain about what hip-hop is missing, LL delivers those beats and lyrics on his Cd's, but we and the masses never know it for some unknown reason! You would think that with him being a family man, being in better shape than most in their 30's and 40's and having females of all ages, still scream his name, that he would be on the topic of everyone's conversations! Could it be his personal management or Jay-Z's lack of respect as his label head? With 25 plus years in hip-hop, very few, and I really mean few, MC's mention him as one of their influences! With the positives mentioned, it makes you wonder why LL Cool J doesn't have the massive acclaim and awards like Jay-Z, Eminen, Kanye and what 50 Cent use to have!
