Hip Hop recording star T.I. is set to turn himself in to authorities toward the end of this month but, not in Georgia as believed.... T.I will instead spend time in Arkansas !
According to a release issued Friday, the "Live Your Life" rapper is due to check-in at Forrest City Arkansas' low security prison May 26 where he'll join roughly 1,500 inmates. There the Georgia based rapper will serve time related to federal weapons charges after avoiding a 10 year prison sentence through a combination of community service, house detention and probationary agreements.
In related news, T.I. is due to shoot a video for his Mary J. Blige assisted single "Don't Forget," which is also the first cut from a special re-release of the 2X Platinum certified album "Paper Trail" (2008).
On the song, released this week, Mary J. Blige sings "Don't forget to
remember me. Please keep me in your heart, if we ever have to part".
T.I. received a sentence of one year and one day however, has been credited for 305 days of home detention served prior to his trial.
