The untold story of iconic Supremes member Florence Ballard is coming to the small screen thanks to TV One ! Ballard, known for her stint with Mary Wilson and Diana Ross in the Surpremes during the iconic Motown Era, was confirmed to be the subject of one of three new installments of “Unsung,” TV One’s applauded series launched in 2008, this week. Among those featured in the forthcoming show, which airs June 28, are former Supremes member Mary Wilson and Ballard’s sister Maxine Ballard. Shalamar (June 21), Melba Moore (June 14) and Minnie Riperton (June 7) will also be featured on “Unsung” during the month of June, which coincides with Black Music Month. Shalamar, Moore, and Riperton’s episodes, which document their lives and careers, are narrated by actor Gary Anthony Williams.
