Yeah son! I agree with SHEKISHA. Maxwell is in a class by himself. You can't compare him to R&B today.Thats straight old school.

I too walk in total agreement, Maxwell is in a class of his own. Maxwell's style is that of smooth soul it makes your mind, think, wonder, and perceive things on a higher level. It is as though his words penetrate beyond the mind into your very soul. It is simply because he carries soul music within his own character! It is impossible to release what you don't have and he has got it all like old soul classics, Al Green, Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway etc. The Rnb of today can't even tap into the mind, so how can it touch the soul. Maxwell is what we consider old soul!! He is truly blessed!!

I will buy the CD because I enjoy Maxwell's genre of music. He is unique and has a beautiful soulful voice. I wish I could afford to go see him in concert in Buffalo, NY. Welcome back handsome-don't stay away so long (smile)
