She multi-talented and people just dont wanna give her her damn props. she can dance sing and act all in one. f**k wat ya'll say i love beyonce and she can act and was damn good in obsessed and yes she deserves to get dat role and i hope she does.

The fakest in the game is at it again. Burnt out Beyonce is begging for an Oscar. The Feds should apply Anti-Trust laws to Music and Movie industry. Anyone but Beyonce should get this part. But I know what is going to happend she and her whole family is going to the produce (put money in) the movie what a loser!!!!

The arts are being ruined by money and corporation greed. Beyonce and Daddy are the prime examples of this. Good actors don't work, overhyped celebrities do. It's sad, because good actors have what's best for their craft in mind, not what is best for themselves. Beyonce's entire drive is based on winning a stupid meaningless gold trophy called the Oscar. That is what she bases her artistic integrity on, trophies, meaningless trophies. This is why I quit the arts.

Beyonce can barely talk, and because of this I know she cannot Scat. Ella was known for singing scats. Plus Beyonce really cannot act, Christina Aquillera would play the part better.

LAWD HAVE MERCY if they let Beyonce get another role because of her daddys pull and status I'm going to throw the hell up. It's amazing how they keep pimpin' this woman out as an actress. Sure she has a solid fan base, but even they are sick not only hearing her, but seeing her...if you have to sell tickets you gotta go with who is hot....I sure hope Chrisette gets it or even Ledisi, who has a style so like Ella Fitzgerald...now that would be a treat to see.

I agree ABC. I am the biggest Beyonce fan but I feel that Beyonce has had enough singing roles. It is time to let someone else shine. GO CHRISETTE!
