Maxwell To Wing Six Week Summers' Night Tour

With the premiere of the anticipated video for "Pretty Wings" under his belt and a solidified release date on the horizon, Maxwell is taking to the road !
Set to kick off June 20, Maxwell's "Black Summers' Night" embracing tour will wind through just over 20 dates in North America including stops in Las Vegas, Seattle, Nashville, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Albany and Atlantic City before wrapping up August 2 in Orlando, FL.
"Black Summers' Night," a “conversation with his audience,” is long overdue;
but as the soft-spoken, multi-platinum artist sees it, in order to come
back it was necessary to step away. "I didn’t intentionally step away
from all of it, but I just wanted to…live my life a little bit, and
then be able to make music with that pure experience again.”
As previously reported in Singersroom's "Sights & Soul," Maxwell will headline the main stage at this year's Essence Music Festival in New Orleans July 4 where he joins Beyonce, John Legend, and Al Green.
While venues were not available at press time for the tour, the following dates have been confirmed (see below).
