Jamie Foxx Pushed To The Limit via The Soloist, Jet and Uptown

In addition to having the number one single "Blame It" at Billboard, Jamie Foxx is set to recapture the Hollywood spotlight with the anticipated film "The Soloist". But, that's not all... Foxx is also covering several forthcoming magazines including this week's JET !
Speaking with JET about "The Soloist" Foxx explains why the film was one of the most challenging roles he's every played and in effect the difficulty in letting himself go.
In "The Soloist" Jamie Foxx breaks into the true story of Nathaniel Ayers, a Julliard musician and musical prodigy who becomes schizophrenic and eventually homeless. As Foxx explained recently, portraying Ayers in the film, also starring Robert Downey Jr, was frightening due to his fear of "going crazy".
"Doing this movie I asked a psychiatrist "can I catch schizophrenia ?," Foxx told Access Hollywood.
"He said you can have those feelings... and post traumatic stress."

'The Soloist' is due in theaters April 24.

Jamie is so funny, "can I catch schizophrenia ?," I believe this movie is going to be another, "ray" success for Jamie. He is an awesome actor, just yesterday I saw the movie Bait on HBO or Showtime he made back in 2000. You could see even then what a great actor he was to become, who knew 4 years later he'd play one of the greatest movies in his acting career. I believe, no I know this is just the beginning of a long line of great movies starring Jamie Foxx.
