Rihanna Snags Perfume Deal, Plus Vibe Publishes Rihanna Covered Story

Rihanna looks to be unscathed by the latest drama with Chris Brown. In fact, the former "We Ride" singer is close to signing a perfume deal with Parlux Fragrances !

Becoming the latest celeb to jump into the fragrance market, Rihanna's new deal comes under a several scent deal between Jay-Z and Parlux.

However, Rihanna is not the only one picking up the bottle. "Hearbreak" star Kanye West is part of the deal too.

"We are extremely excited to begin work on our projects with Rihanna and Kanye West. Each is an extremely highly regarded celebrity at the top of his or her profession who is undoubtedly going to make an indelible impression in the fragrance industry, just as each has done in the entertainment world. Their stars continue to rise rapidly in the entertainment arena, which will represent a terrific springboard for us in launching their fragrance brands.. ," Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Parlux said via statement this week.

The deal, in association with Jay-Z's Iconic Fragrances, LLC licensing company, will end up including individual worldwide frangrance licenses for multiple artists including Jay-Z himself and another well-established female artist.

In related news, Rihanna is featured on May's cover of Vibe Magazine with the title "What's Love Got To Do With It".

According to Vibe, the story covers domestic violence and a previously unpublished interview with boyfriend Chris Brown, Tina Davis and Brown's former bodyguard Chris Bush.

In one part of the interview a close source shares an untold story about an altercation that took place between the couple at producer Timabaland's Grammy party February 6 at Boulevard 3 just hours before their pre-Grammy altercation after Clive Davis' Grammy Party.
