Jim JonesHip Hop recording star turned executive Jim Jones will reportedly face the music next month on charges related to an alleged altercation with R&B singer Ne-Yo's entourage.

Jones, currently promoting his new album "Pray IV Reign," has been ordered to appear in court April 21 on charges stemming from an alleged fight with Ne-Yo manager Jayvon Smith at a Louis Vuitton store in Manhattan last year.

While details surrounding the incident are still sketchy at best, police believe Jones and members of his crew got in to a physical altercation with members of Ne-Yo's entourage on Fifth Avenue Christmas Eve.

According to MTV News, Jones turned down a plea deal that would have come with 10 days of community service or 15 days in jail.

Jones is also facing a $7 million civil lawsuit brought by Jayvon Smith. In the suit Smith claims the rapper seriously injured him during the alleged altercation in December.

Pleading not guilty, Jones' trial is set to star April 21.
