Beyonce's 'Diva' Certified Gold, #1 Dance Record at Billboard

Beyonce Beyonce's hit single "Diva" has become the no.1 Dance Record in America, this just after the "I Am..Sasha Fierce" singer's single was certified as a Gold selling ringtone.

Released as a digital download and CD single on January 20, "Diva" quickly reached #5 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and #19 on the Hot 100, earning Beyonce her 16th Top 20 single.

Co-written and produced by Beyonce, the hit song provacatively redifines the term "Diva" as the "female version of a hustla".

Noted as a genuine crossover success, "Diva" has reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, #3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and #19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

As previously reported on Singersroom, Beyonce is slated to kick off a highly anticipated "I AM" World Tour March 26 in Edmonton in addition to a confirmed performance at this year's Essence Music Festival.
