American Idol has signed on for a dose of the former Louis Vutton don, Kanye West !
According to producers, Kanye West will join Kelly Clarkson as a performer during Wednesday's episode of American Idol.
West, whose new album "Heartless" has been certified Platinum, is making his first appearance on the hit Fox series and will perform the hit single "Heartless".
Clarkson, the first person to win American Idol, will sing the chart-topping single "My Life Would Suck Without You," which hits stores Tuesday.
American Idol, a ratings blockbuster for FOX!, has featured performances from Mariah Carey, Prince and Jennifer Lopez in recent years.
