R&B icon Chaka Khan has been speaking out in defense of her friend Whitney Houston.
Houston was recently accused of having an alleged drug problem and brain tumor.
?We've no way of really knowing what's happening with her, unless you're there with her, ? Khan said.
"It's obvious she's going through some difficult times right now but I have every faith, and my prayers are constantly with her. I'm there for her when she needs me. And I know she will be fine."
Khan also added: "She's a strong, articulate, persecuted woman, and I think she just needs to be left alone and let her get on with her life. Let her battle her demons and I know she'll come out on top."
